Three iconic rail journeys, medieval towns, alpine peaks and lakeside charm from one end of Switzerland to the other.
Start in Zurich with a day at leisure, then head with your driver-guide to the Rhine Falls, Europe’s biggest and most powerful waterfall, before a private guided tour of St. Gallen’s medieval old town. On the way to St. Moritz, stop at the Appenzeller Show Dairy for a Swiss cheese tasting, with a leisurely stop in Vaduz, Liechtenstein's capital, along the way. Board the Bernina Express through the Alps to Tirano, then travel along Lake Como back into Switzerland and on to Lugano. Cross the Gotthard mountain pass to Andermatt and board the Glacier Express to Zermatt, taking the cogwheel train up to Gornergrat for sweeping views of the Matterhorn. A wine tasting near Montreux precedes the GoldenPass journey through the Bernese Oberland, with an optional excursion to Jungfraujoch. The journey concludes in Lucerne before departing from Zurich.
