Start in Helsinki and make your way north into Finnish Lapland, where the landscapes become wilder and the adventures a little more unusual. In Kemi, head out on an icebreaker cruise before travelling to Levi and Kilpisjärvi for husky and three-country border safaris, an Aurora sleigh hunt and a taste of Sámi culture over a locally inspired meal. From Tromsø, swap the road for the sea and settle into life aboard Hurtigruten. Sail Norway’s spectacular coast, stopping in Honningsvåg, Alta and Svolvær in the Lofoten Islands, before continuing south to Ålesund and Bergen. With great food, comfortable surroundings and time to enjoy the scenery along the way, the journey eventually carries you beyond Norway to Copenhagen.
